Relay For Life fundraisers April 17, May 1
TELL CITY – The Lincoln Hills Relay For Life team will hold a dessert auction from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 17 in the Lincoln Conference room at 302 Main St. in Tell City.
A yard sale will be held from 3 to 5:30 p.m. May 1, from 6:30 a.m. to noon May 2 and from 7 to 11 a.m. May 3. The sale will be held at 321 Ninth St.
The group will accept donations until April 18.
Free financial workshop Monday
TELL CITY – The Perry County Public Library will present a free workshop titled “Protecting Your Assets” from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Tell City branch.
At the workshop, Edward Jones Investment and Saybrus Partners will discuss asset protection, long-term- care planning strategies and wealth-transfer strategies to minimize taxes for beneficiaries.

Class offered for people with kidney disease
TELL CITY – There will be a free Kidney Smart Education class March 4 at 10 a.m. at the Fifth Third Bank Community Room in Tell City. The class is free and open to anyone who has been diagnosed with kidney disease.
Family members are also welcome to attend.

Indiana 15 to meet Tuesday
FERDINAND – The Executive Board of the Indiana 15 Regional Planning Commission will meet Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the commission’s office at 221 E. First Street in Ferdinand.
Texas hold ‘em tourney Saturday at Legion
TELL CITY – American Legion Post 213 will host a no-limit Texas hold ‘em tournament Saturday. Sign-in will be at 3 p.m. and play will begin at 4. p.m. The tournament is open to the public. Entry fee is $15 with a $20 buy-in. Unlimited re-buys will be available during the first hour and add-on is optional at the end of the first hour. There will be 100 percent payout. VFW breakfast Saturday
TELL CITY – Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2939 will host a buffet breakfast from 7 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the post home. Cost is $6.50 plus tax and the public is invited to attend.
Perry County 4-H dinner, auction April 5
The Perry County 4-H Council will sponsor a pork chop dinner and auction April 5 to raise funds for the 4-H program.
The meal will be prepared by McFall Family Meats. Cost is $9. Tickets may be purchased at Radio Shack or by calling Lori at (812) 381-0647. Meal tickets may also be purchased from any Perry County 4-H council member.

Men’s Lenten breakfast served up March 8 PERRY COUNTY – The Men’s Lenten Breakfast Fellowship Group of Perry County will hold the first breakfast from 7 to 8 a.m. March 8 at Cannelton United Church of Christ. Library to offer de-cluttering workshop
TELL CITY – Tell City Library will present Your Clutter Free Home from 1 to 3 p.m. March 1. This program will offer tips from organizing expert Amy Payne on how to de-clutter and stay organized. Participants will learn how to sort, organize and maintain a system that works best for them.
William Tell Center hosting line dancing
TELL CITY - The William Tell Center will host weekly line dances Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The center is located at 1307 11th St., two blocks south of Highway 37. Cost is $5 and everyone is welcome to attend.
Moose Kids Day Saturday
TELL CITY – The Moose will hold a Kids Day from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday. There will be games and prizes. Kids and grandkids of Moose members are invited to attend. Free admission and event is for Moose members only.
LCC to hold euchre tourney Saturday
LEOPOLD – The Leopold Conservation Club will hold a euchre tournament Saturday at the club. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and games will begin at 7 p.m. Cost is $5 per person. Tourneys are also scheduled for March 8 and 21 and April 5.
Bluebird program at Patoka Lake Saturday
BIRDSEYE – Patoka Lake Visitor Center will offer nature programs Saturday at the center.
At 10 a.m., a program titled Return of the Bluebirds will give participants tips on how to help attract male bluebirds that will return to the area in late February and females that will arrive in March and April.
From noon to 2 p.m., the Frosty Findings Scavenger Hunt will take place along the Garden Rock Loop Trail. Prizes will be awarded. Call (812) 685-2447 for more information.
Ohio Valley Tractor Association to meet Feb. 27
BRANCHVILLE – The Ohio Valley Tractor Association will meet at 7 p.m. Feb. 27 at the Branchville Conservation Clubhouse.
All members are encouraged to attend.
The evening’s focus will be brainstorming ideas to help the Future Farmers of America.
FUMC to host family fun night March 1
TELL CITY – Tell City First United Methodist Church will host a family fun night at 5 p.m. March 1 in the social hall and sanctuary.
There will be karaoke, food and activities for the kids. Everyone is invited and proceeds will benefit the community.
Go Red for Women luncheon Tuesday
TELL CITY – Tell City Junior-Senior High Wellness will host its second annual Go Red for Women luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Tuesday with guest speakers Kathy Scheller of the American Heart Association and Shelly Sherry of Perry County Memorial Hospital.
The luncheon will be held at 900 12th Street in Tell City.
Twilight Towers breakfast set for March 1
TELL CITY – Twilight Towers will be holding a biscuits and gravy fundraiser March 1st beginning at 7 a.m.
A full order will be $2 and a half order will be $1. Drinks of coffee, milk and orange juice will be $.50 each.
There will also be a bake sale at the same time. Everyone is welcome in the dining room at 1648 10th St., Tell City.
