Mu Gamma to meet Thursday
TELL CITY – Mu Gamma will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Evangelical United Church of Christ in Tell City.
Hostesses will be Mary Linne Saylor, Jenny Brunner, Sondra VonConia and Saffron Ragan.
PC Coon Club shooting match
TELL CITY – The Perry County Coon Club will host its annual shooting match Sunday at the club.
The ham shoot will start at 11:30 a.m. with the closed match at 2:30 p.m.
Kids clinic Saturday
TELL CITY – Orscheln Farm and Home Supply will host a free kids clinic from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday.
Kids participating will decorate pumpkins with hardware. All supplies and materials will be provided and everyone is welcome to attend.

VFW breakfast Saturday
TELL CITY – Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2939 in Tell City will host a breakfast buffet at 7:30 a.m. at the post home.
Price is $6.50 plus tax. The public is invited to attend.
Hike set for Sunday
PERRY COUNTY – The Perry County Parks and Recreation Department will host a hike at Saddle Lake Sunday. Those participating are asked to meet at 1:30 p.m. at the Saddle Lake boat ramp.
Horseman’s club euchre games
PERRY COUNTY – The Southern Indiana Horseman’s Club will continue its annual fall euchre games Nov. 2, Nov. 16 and Nov. 30.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. and games will begin at 7 p.m. Cost is $5 at the door and 25 cents per euchre game.
Chili, hot dogs, desserts, coffee, sodas and water will be available. No smoking will be permitted in the building.

Tractor group to meet Thursday
BRANCHVILLE – The Ohio Valley Tractor Association will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Branchville clubhouse.

Halloween party in Troy Sunday
TROY – The annual Troy Fire Department Halloween Kids party will be Sunday at the Troy firehouse.
Activities will start at 4 p.m. The event will include games, treats, hay rides, inflatables and fire safety information.
Dinners in Leopold Sunday
LEOPOLD – The Ohio Valley Tractor Association will sell chicken dinners beginning at 10 a.m. Sunday at the Leopold Park.
Sportsman Club to sell dinners
FULDA – The Fulda Sportsman Club will sell barbecue chicken and pork-chop dinners Sunday.
They will be available at the Village Hut beginning at 8 a.m. and are carryout only.
Trick-or-treat at St. Meinrad Legion
ST. MEINRAD – St. Meinrad Legion Post 366 will sponsor a trick-or-treat session at the post home for all area children at 6 p.m. Oct. 29. A free family-themed movie will be shown at 7 p.m.
Trick-or-treating at Twilight Towers
TELL CITY – Twilight Towers tenants will participate in the Witches Walk from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 30 in the dining room at 1648 10th St., Tell City.
Parents and their children are welcome to drop by Twilight Towers for trick or treating.
St. Martin ham shoot Nov. 3
SIBERIA – St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Siberia will host a ham shoot Nov. 3 on the church grounds beginning at 10 a.m.
Chili, cakes, a country store, pies, bingo and raffle will be available.
Fall soup sale in Troy
TROY – The Troy Fire Department’s annual fall soup sale is set for Nov. 3 at the Troy firehouse.
Serving will begin at 11 a.m. and those purchasing soup by the gallon are asked to take their own containers.
CHS Class of 1988 reunion
CANNELTON – The Cannelton High School Class of 1988 will celebrate its 25-year reunion at the Patio Steakhouse at 6 p.m. Nov. 9.
