Commodores thump Forest Park

FERDINAND—Ashley Gengelbach played strong defense in the front and back rows as Perry Central defeated Forest Park 25-14, 25-14, 25-18 in volleyball Tuesday.
Gengelbach led the Commodores in blocks with four and digs with 11. She also made six kills.
Sydney Goffinet and Hannah Harpenau each made eight kills, Grace James seven, and Jordan Sprinkle three. James had 17 assists.
Sprinkle made three blocks and Goffinet added two.
Brittany Parker made seven digs, Jennifer Kemp six, and Harpenau five.
James served four aces and Goffinet added three.
