Commodores' shooting hot in 68-58 win over Braves

LYNNVILLE - Alie Schroeder and Melissa Hahus combined for 35 points as Perry Central beat Tecumseh 68-58 in girls basketball Thursday.

Schroeder, a 6-foot center, scored mostly inside. She hit 6 of 12 shots from the field and 7 of 10 free throws for 19 points.

Hahus, a 5-foot-3 guard, did most of her damage outside.

She hit 6 of 10 shots from the field, including 3 of 5 from three-point range, and 1 of 2 free throws for 16 points.

She also had seven assists.

Ashley Brown and Audra Gehlhausen each added a career-high 12 points.
