LEOPOLD - Neal Schwartz scored 11 points as Perry Central beat Northeast Dubois 37-33 in freshman basketball Monday.
Kyle Troesch and Garrett Miller each added eight points and Kyle Rasche scored five.
"We played pretty decent," said Perry Central Coach Kevin Rogier. We hit a couple of free throws late to help us keep the lead."
The Commodores hit 13 of 18 free throws overall for 72.2 percent.
This was the Commodores' season opener. They will host Tell City Monday at 6:30 p.m.
