LEOPOLD—Perry Central, which has had some trouble stopping opponents’ passing in its first two games, will face another passing team Friday.

The Commodores will host 0-2 Crawford County for their first PLAC game Friday at 7 p.m.
The Wolfpack lost 39-0 to Pekin Eastern Aug. 20 but lost only 21-14 to Springs Valley last week.
“The thing that kept them in the game against Valley was they threw the ball fairly well,” said Perry Central Coach Mike Spencer. “They scored on a pass and set up another (touchdown) with a pass.”
Braden Barron, the Wolfpack’s 5-10, 145-pound sophomore quarterback, “threw the ball fairly under pressure,” said Spencer. “He put the ball around his receivers and gave them a chance to make the catch.”
His main receiving targets are Alex Baker, a 5-11, 160-pound senior split end, and Evan Aldridge, a 6-1, 170-pound slotback.
Corey Cain, a 5-10, 220-pound fullback
