Commodores clobber Mitchell

MITCHELL—Perry Central used a balanced spiking attack to beat Mitchell 25-8, 25-12, 25-13 in PLAC volleyball Tuesday.
Sydney Goffinet led the Commodores with eight kills and Ashley Gengelbach, Hannah Harpenau and Jordan Sprinkle each added seven.
Sprinkle also made five blocks. Gengelbach added four and Grace James two.
James had 20 assists and made a team-high eight digs. Brittany Parker added seven digs and Jennifer Kemp made six.
Harpenau served nine aces and James and Kemp each added three.
