Commodores claim share of PLAC title

CAMPBELLSBURG—Hannah Harpenau made 16 kills and 14 digs as Perry Central beat West Washington 25-23, 25-17, 25-13 in PLAC volleyball Thursday.
The Commodores finished 5-1 in PLAC matches to tie Paoli for the conference title, their first share of a conference crown since 2006.
Ashley Gengelbach made nine kills, Sydney Goffinet seven, and Grace James four to back Harpenau Thursday. James had 23 assists.
James also made three blocks and Gengelbach and Goffinet each added two.
