LINCOLN CITY—Perry Central hit only 20.0 percent from the field in a 35-24 girls basketball loss to Heritage Hills Thursday.
The Commodores hit 6 of 23 from two-point range and 3 of 22 from three-point range.
Heritage Hills was also cold most of the game and led just 29-23 with three minutes left.
“I told our girls that as bad as we’ve shot, we still have a chance,” said Perry Central Coach Bill Dickerson. “Then Heritage Hills hit a couple of shots.”
