On Monday, April 9, the Perry County Council held an emergency session to hear my petition to hire a part-time Deputy IV-D prosecutor.

In 1975, Congress amended the Social Security Act, Title IV, Part D – hence the Title IV-D – to provide greater assistance to the states in establishing paternity and enforcing child-support orders.
