CANNELTON – Smoke testing of sewer lines revealed that 10 or 11 problem areas remained to be resolved, the Cannelton Board of Public Works and Safety heard at a regular meeting May 12.
As the News reported in January and February, city sewer-department workers were checking the lines for breaks and notifying residents of problems on their property. Several were granted extensions to an end-of-January deadline for repairs.
The city attorney would be asked to contact those whose lines were still leaking.
