Cities' officials to swear oaths

PERRY COUNTY - Newly elected and re-elected city officials in Cannelton and Tell City will be sworn in during separate ceremonies this week and next. In Cannelton, officials will take their oaths of office at 5 p.m. Thursday in the city-council chambers, located in the lower level of the public library. Judge Lucy Goffinet will administer the oaths of office. A reception will follow at Cannelton Amer-ican Legion Post 142.
