Tell Street Baptist to host concert Sunday
TELL CITY – Tell Street Baptist Church, located at the corner of Tell and 33rd streets in Tell City, will hold a gospel concert at 11 a.m. Sunday.
The gospel group Truth Betold will sing during the morning service. Group members are Kenny Roberts, Oliver “Gene” Jones, Alan Berry, Barbara Berry and Jerome Harding.
A carry-in fellowship meal will follow the event. At 1:30 p.m., the group will perform an extended concert. Everyone is invited to attend.

Marian pilgrimages end Sunday in St. Meinrad
ST. MEINRAD – The final Saint Meinrad Archabbey’s pilgrimage to honor the Blessed Mother at the Monte Cassino Shrine will be Sunday.
The pilgrimage will begin with an opening hymn and a short sermon, followed by a rosary procession.
The service ends with the Litany of the Blessed Virgin and a hymn. The speaker and topic for Sunday are the Rev. Jeremy King OSB “Mary, Queen of All Saints”
Service begin at 2 p.m. The public is invited. The Monte Cassino Shrine is located one mile east of the archabbey on Indiana 62.

Blood drive at St. John’s Lutheran Sunday
EVANSTON – St. John’s Lutheran Church in Evanston will host a community blood drive Sunday.
The unit will be in the fellowship hall from 8 a.m. to noon. 
Supporting a blood drive is an important community commitment, organizers said. They ask the community to take time to donate to this blood drive. 
St. John’s Church is located 1/2 mile west of New Boston, County Road 1160 North.

St. Paul fish fry set for Nov. 4
TELL CITY – The St. Paul parish will host an all-you-can-eat fish fry form 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 4 at the parish hall.
The menus will include fish, chips, macaroni and cheese, dessert and drink.
Cost is $7 adult and $5 child for children. Everyone is invited to attend.
Proceeds will benefit a mission trip to St. Louis in 2012.

Revival services at Cloverport Wesleyan Church
CLOVERPORT, Ky. – The people of the Wesleyan Church at Cloverport invite the public to join them for revival services, running until Sunday. The Rev. John Case of New Castle will be the evangelist.
Case and his wife, Betty, will provide special music for the services.
Services will begin at 6 p.m. today through Saturday and 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday.
The Wesleyan Church is located on old U.S. 60 in Cloverport at the corner of Main and Maple Streets just east of the Clover Creek Bridge.
