Fun day at Lilly Dale Church Saturday
GATCHEL – Lilly Dale Church of Christ in Gatchel will host a free fall fun day Saturday.
There will be free hot dogs, drinks, chips, cookies and cupcakes, hayrides, barrel train rides, inflatable slides and other fun games.
Organizers invite anyone to come enjoy the day from noon to 5 p.m. The church is located on Indiana 37, 10 miles north of Tell City. Watch for signs.

Hawesville Baptist plans revival
HAWESVILLE, Ky. – The Hawesville Baptist Church will have a revival titled “HBCReviva” Oct. 23 through Oct. 26 at the church.
The guest speaker will be Dr. Chad Brand from SBTS and the worship leader will be Zach Rice from Immanuel Baptist.

Monte Cassino pilgrimages continue Sunday
ST. MEINRAD – Saint Meinrad Archabbey’s pilgrimages to honor the Blessed Mother at the Monte Cassino Shrine have been scheduled for the Sundays in October.
Pilgrimages begin with an opening hymn and a short sermon, followed by a rosary procession.
The service ends with the Litany of the Blessed Virgin and a hymn. Speakers and topics for the pilgrimages are:
• Oct. 16, the Rev. Noël Mueller OSB, “Mary the Peacemaker”
• Oct. 23, the Rev. Germain Swisshelm OSB, “The Rosary – Album of Our Lady’s Memories”
• Oct. 30, the Rev. Jeremy King, OSB “Mary, Queen of All Saints”
Services begin at 2 p.m. The public is invited.

Trinity UCC to host Halloween evening
FULDA – Trinity United Church of Christ in Fulda will have Halloween evening for families Saturday, Oct. 22 beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The “Trunk or Treat,” event will kick off the night and then a light meal and family-friendly Halloween movie will be offered.

Blood drive at St. John’s Lutheran Oct. 30
EVANSTON – St. John’s Lutheran Church in Evanston will host a community blood drive Sunday, Oct. 30. The unit will be in the fellowship hall from 8 a.m. to noon.
Supporting a blood drive is an important community commitment, organizers said.
They ask the community to take time to donate to this blood drive.  St. John’s Church is located 1/2 mile west of New Boston, County Road 1160 North.

Light the Night event set for Oct. 22
BRISTOW – The United Pentecostal Church of Bristow will have its annual Light the Night hayride and bonfire event from 5 to 9 p.m. Oct. 22.
Weather permitting, several hayrides and a bonfire will be featured. Regardless of wet weather, there will be food and activities in the gym and fellowship hall. 
These include basketball, a pinata, hotdogs, marshmallows, chili and treats. The public is invited and everything is free.
The church is located one half mile north of Bristow on Highway 145. Call the church at 843-5240 with any questions or for further directions.

Library exhibiting paintings, prints
SAINT MEINRAD – Saint Meinrad Archabbey Library Gallery is hosting an exhibit of works by Brother Joe Barrish.
The exhibit of paintings and prints includes oils, watercolors, serigraphs, wood and linocuts and collages. Subjects include figurative work and brightly colored abstracts, city-scapes and landscapes.
The exhibit will run through Friday.

Zion UCC bazaar set for Oct. 22
CHRISNEY – Zion United Church of Christ will hold a church bazaar on College Street in Chrisney from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 22
Soup, sandwiches, homemade ice cream, pie and cake will be available. A country store and craft table will be set up.
