Memorial Mass at St. Pius Nov. 9
TROY – An annual memorial Mass will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9 at St. Pius Catholic Church in Troy.
The Mass will be for all deceased members of the Knights of Columbus, especially those that died within the last year.
The public is invited to attend.

Little Pigeon Bible study
LAMAR – Little Pigeon Baptist Church, west of Lamar on County Road 1200 N., will have Bible study of the book of Revelation. The study begins at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays at the church and will be led by Pastor Bob Duley. For more information, call (812) 529-8188.

Gospel Tabernacle to hold revival
CANNELTON – Gospel Tabernacle Church in Cannelton will hold a three-night revival service with Evangelist James McMiken of Jasper. Services will be held Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 6:30 p.m.
McMiken is a current events speaker as well as a Bible historian.
Special music will also be apart of the evening events. All are welcome to attend.

First UMC holiday bazaar Nov. 10
TELL CITY – The First United Methodist Church, corner of 10th and Mozart streets in Tell City, will hold its holiday bazaar from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 10 at the church.
Crafts, baked goods, a candy store, homemade noodles and attic treasures will be available at the event. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and dinner will be from 4:30 to 7 p.m.

United Pentecostal deer dinner Nov. 13
BRISTOW – An annual deer dinner will be held Nov. 13 at the United Pentecostal Church, 20843 Indiana 145, Bristow. Serving begins at 10:30 a.m.
The menu will include ham, turkey, chicken, all the trimmings, deserts and drinks. The community is invited to attend and enjoy a good hot meal while swapping the latest hunting tales with other hunters.
Those who don’t hunt are invited to the meal as well, to visit old friends and share fellowship with others attending.
The cost is $ 7 per adult and $3.50 for children under age 10.

Candy sale underway
BRISTOW – Bristow United Pentecostal Church is now taking orders for their annual candy sale.
Orders can be placed for plain fudge, peanut butter fudge, fudge with walnuts, peanut butter balls and peanut brittle or a mixture of the three types of fudge. Fudge and peanut butter balls sell for $7 a pound with half pounds available upon request. Peanut brittle is $2.50 per patty.
All orders need to be placed by Nov. 16 and will be delivered Nov. 22. Call 843-5240 to place an order.
