Deer Creek Baptist to host gospel quartet
TELL CITY – The Southern Harmony Quartet will be the special guests Sunday for the church’s Thanksgiving service.
The quartet have been singing southern gospel music style since 1997. The community is invited to at-tend and hear them as they worship through music and use their talents to serve God.
There will also be a fellowship meal after the morning service. There will be no Sunday school and the morning service begins at 10:30 a.m. The public is invited to attend the event.

EUCC set Thanksgiving dinner date
TELL CITY – The Evangelical United Church of Christ will prepare a traditional Thanksgiving dinner Thursday, Nov. 25. The meal will be served in the fellowship hall from noon to 1 p.m.
Anyone wishing to have meals delivered in the morning can call the church office at 547-7059.
Meals will be delivered in Tell City, Cannelton and Troy. Anyone is invited to call the church to request a meal.
Table of Blessings will serve at this time instead of the usual 5 p.m.

St. John’s to hold annual Thanksgiving dinner
LAMAR – St. John’s United Church of Christ, CR 550 and CR 1350 in Lamar, will host its annual Thanksgiving dinner Nov. 20.
Serving will being at 4 p.m. Cost is $8 and the menu will include ham, turkey, dressing, fall vegetables, home-baked desserts and a drink.
A country store will also be available and include seasonal décor, baked goods and crafts.
