Little Pigeon to host gospel sing
LAMAR – Little Pigeon Baptist Church, off Indiana 245 near Lamar, will host a gospel sing at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Grace Harmony will be the special guests. Refreshments will be served at 6:30 p.m. and the public is encouraged to attend.

First UMC to sell chicken dinners Sunday
TELL CITY – Members of the First United Methodist Church of Tell City will sell grilled chicken dinners Sunday at the corner of 12th and Tell streets in Tell City.
Serving will begin at 10:30 a.m.
Dinners will include 1/2 chicken, creek-fried potatoes and green beans. Cost is $7 per dinner.
Proceeds from the sales will help fund a mission trip to Crow Creek Indian Reservation. Fifteen members of the church will be spending 9 days in the mission field in South Dakota July 23-31 with their pastor, Andy Payton.

New church starts services in Dale
DALE – A new church fellowship, Graceful Gospel, will begin worship Sunday at 6 p.m.
The church is located in Dale on Indiana 231, across from Sternberg Ford. Services will be held every Sunday at 6.
Everyone is welcome to attend. Pastor is Thomas L. Amos.

May pilgrimages under way
ST. MEINRAD – Saint Meinrad Archabbey’s pilgrimages to honor the Blessed Mother at the Monte Cassino Shrine have been scheduled for the Sundays in May. Services begin at 2 p.m. Speakers and topics for the pilgrimages are:
• Sunday, Brother Elijah Luckett OSB, “Mary, Mother of Mercy.”
• May 29, the Rev. Denis Robinson OSB, “Mary, Queen of Peace.”
