VBS at Hawesville Church of Christ starts Sunday
HAWESVILLE, Ky. – Children to seniors and everyone in between are invited to a free vacation Bible school at the Hawesville Church of Christ, 2535 Highway 60 West.
The event will be at 7 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday at the church. For more information, contact new minister George Jensen at (270) 927-9701.

Events at Deer Creek Baptist Church
TELL CITY – Vacation Bible school at Deer Creek Baptist Church will be from June 24-29 at the church.
The Bible point will be trust God and children participating will partake in crafts, games, snacks, music and more while learning about “God’s amazing love and how we can trust him in all we do,” organizers said.
The church hosts Talk-Pray-Walk each Sunday at Sunset Park in Tell City. The next session will be at 7:15 p.m. July 1. A walk will not be held June 24 due to vacation Bible school. All are welcome to join.
The church’s homecoming is set for July 29 with special music to be provided by the Conquerors Quartet.

Community Christian to host video series
TELL CITY – An informative video series featuring Christian historian David Barton of Wall Builders, a national pro-family organization dedicated to presenting America’s forgotten history and heroes, will be presented each Sunday at 4 p.m. at the Community Christian Church, 821 10th St., Tell City.
Barton serves as a consultant to state and federal legislators, has participated in several cases at the U.S. Supreme Court and has been directly involved in the development of history and social studies standards for Texas and California. Barton is a best-selling author and national award-winning historian.
These presentations will include a short discussion period afterward and everyone is welcome to attend. No admission is charge or offering taken.
