Coats, blankets available to local residents through Catholic Charities
TELL CITY – Catholic Charities has a large assortment of coats to be given away to anyone who needs one. Coats are available in sizes from toddlers to adults and everything in between. Each person in a family can have one coat. There are also a limited number of blankets available. These are limited to one blanket per family
There is no charge for any of these items. Call Joan Hess at Catholic Charities at 547-0903 for hours of operation and more information.

Celebration Singers to perform Sunday
HUNTINGBURG – St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg will celebrate 150 years of service with an opening performance from the Celebration Singers Community Choir at 2 p.m. EST Sunday.
The choir will sing Joseph M. Martin’s “Legacy of Faith,” which was written in 2002 in response to the events of Sept. 11, 2001.
“Legacy of Faith” was commissioned to share the music of God’s grace and hope, and to honor the service and sacrifice of all those who lost their lives.
The program is open to the public.
The Celebration Singers was organized in 2002 and features more than 100 members from Dubois, Pike, Spencer and Martin counties. More information can be found at www.celebrationsingers.org.
