United Pentecostal Christmas play Friday
BRISTOW – The United Pentecostal Church will present a Christmas play, “Christmas Around the World,” at 6 p.m. Friday at the church.
Everyone is welcome to attend. The church is located at 20843 State Road 145 in Bristow.

First United Methodist Church sets plans for Christmas celebrations
TELL CITY – The First United Methodist Church of Tell City will continue their celebrations of the holiday with Christmas services this weekend.
Celebrations will begin Saturday with a traditional Christmas Eve Service, at 7 p.m. with a Christmas message by Pastor Andy Payton, Communion and Candlelight. 
Christmas morning Sunday the church will host a Christmas Carol Service at 10:00 a.m.
Children are encouraged to bring their favorite Christmas toy for a blessing during the service, along with a time of singing some favorite carols for Jesus’ birthday.
Pastor Andy Payton extends a warm welcome of invitation to anyone who would like to attend.

Sisters of St. Benedict plans Christmas liturgies
FERDINAND – The Sisters of St. Benedict invite the public to join them for Christmas celebrations.
Christmas Eve services at Monastery Immaculate Conception in Ferdinand will be held Saturday at 10 p.m.
Carol service precedes the Mass, beginning at 9:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served in the monastery dining room immediately after Mass. Christmas morning mass Sunday will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. in the monastery church.
The Christmas lights display adorning “Grotto Hill” on the monastery grounds are currently lit at night and will continue to be through Jan. 6. All times are eastern standard time.

United Pentecostal announce winter services
BRISTOW – The Bristow United Pentecostal Church, 20843 State Road 145, will implement a winter schedule beginning Jan. 1.
Sunday school will begin at 9:30 a.m. followed by morning worship. There will be no Sunday evening services.
The winter schedule will end March 18. Wednesday Bible study will remain the same.

Life Tabernacle winter schedule released
TELL CITY – Life Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church, 402 Ninth St., in Tell City, will be on a winter schedule effective Sunday through March 18. Services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays and at 2 p.m. Sundays.
All services are scheduled to return to their normal schedule times starting March 21. Regular times are at 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays, and 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sundays.
All services will be canceled Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.

Weekend Christmas schedule at Saint Meinrad Archabbey Church
ST. MEINARD – The public is welcome to join the Benedictine monks of Saint Meinrad Archabbey in St. Meinrad as they celebrate Christmas in the Archabbey Church. All times listed are central.
On Christmas Eve, Saturday, Dec. 24, vigils will begin at 7 p.m. and Mass will be celebrated at 10 p.m.
The Mass of Christmas Day will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 25.
Mass is celebrated each day in the Archabbey Church at 7:30 a.m. Monday through Saturday and at 9:30 a.m. Sunday. However, during the Christmas season, Mass will begin at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 26, and Tuesday, Dec. 27.
Also, the Archabbey Library will be closed Dec. 23 through Dec. 26 and Dec. 31 through Jan. 2. The Saint Meinrad Archabbey Gift Shop will be closed Dec. 24, 25, 31 and Jan. 1.
