Spring conference today at Deer Creek
TELL CITY – Deer Creek Baptist Church in Tell City will host the American Baptist Women’s Spring conference today at the church.
Registration and breakfast will be at 9:30 a.m. The meeting will follow at 10 a.m.

Annual May Monte Cassino pilgrimages planned
ST. MEINRAD – Saint Meinrad Archabbey’s pilgrimages to honor the Blessed Mother at the Monte Cassino Shrine have been scheduled for the Sundays in May.
The pilgrimages begin with an opening hymn and a short sermon, followed by a rosary procession. The service ends with the Litany of the Blessed Virgin and a hymn.
Speakers and topics for the pilgrimages are:
•  May 5 – Brother Philipp Steiner OSB, “Living in the House of Mary”
• May 12 – The Rev.  Joseph Cox OSB, “Mary, Our Mother”
• May 19 – Novice Matthew Sprauer OSB, “Mary, Model of Hospitality”
• May 26 – Novice Bradley Jensen OSB, “Mary, Full of Grace”
Services begin at 2 p.m. CDT. The public is invited.
Monte Cassino Shrine, completed in 1870,   is located one mile east of the archabbey on Indiana 62 in St. Meinrad. It is open daily from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Revival plans at Fosters Ridge
UNIONTOWN – Fosters Ridge Christian Church, Indiana 62 in Uniontown, will host a revival at 6 p.m. today and Friday.
Guest speaker for today will be Brother Tom Nixon and Friday will be Brother Albert Madden.
Glory Bound will also be the special music each night. There will be finger foods after the service Friday.

Domino party hosted by Hilldale Relay for Life team

LEWISPORT, Ky. – The Hilldale Church Relay for Life team will sponsor its ninth annual domino party at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Lewisport Community Center in Lewisport, Ky.
Snacks, drinks, cake and coffee will be served. Door prizes will be offered through out the evening.
The person with the lowest score for the evening will win a porch swing built by Damon Gregory.
Tickets are $10 per person and all proceeds will go to the Relay for Life.
If you have never played dominoes, you will be teamed up with someone who will teach you.

Cannelton Freewill Baptist homecoming weekend
CANNELTON – The Cannelton Freewill Baptist Church will celebrate 49 years with a homecoming weekend May 4 and 5.
Saturday night singing will begin at 7 p.m. and will feature The Epley Family and Pearly Gatemen Reunion.
Sunday School will be dismissed and Sunday morning worship will begin at 10 a.m. A carry-in basket lunch will start at noon.
Sunday afternoon singing will begin at 1:30 p.m. and Sunday night service will be at 7 p.m.
Pastor Lewis Garrett and the church congregation welcome everyone to attend.

St. Paul to offer Catholic classes
TELL CITY – Classes for those seeking to learn more about the Catholic faith are scheduled for 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays through April. Classes are sponsored by St. Paul Catholic Church in Tell City but are open to anyone in the community.
