Holy Week, Easter schedule at Archabbey
ST. MEINRAD – The Holy Week and Easter services for Saint Meinrad Archabbey has been scheduled. The public is invited to join the Benedictine monks for these services in the Archabbey Church. All times are Central.
Palm Sunday, April 17: 9:15 a.m., Blessing and procession with palms, followed by Mass; 5 p.m., Vespers.
Holy Thursday, April 21: 5 p.m., Mass of the Lord’s Supper; no Vespers.
Good Friday, April 22: 3 p.m., Liturgy of the Passion and Death of the Lord.
Holy Saturday, April 23: 5 p.m., Vespers.
Easter Sunday, April 24: 3 a.m. Easter Vigil and Lauds, followed by Mass; 5 p.m., Vespers.
Easter Monday, April 25: 9:30 a.m., Mass; 5 p.m., Vespers.
Easter Tuesday, April 26: 7:30 a.m., Mass; 5 p.m., Vespers.
The Saint Meinrad Archabbey Gift Shop will be closed Good Friday and Easter Sunday. Holy Saturday hours will be from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Archabbey Library hours will be 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday of Holy Week.
The library will be closed Good Friday through Easter Sunday.

Little Pigeon to host gospel sing Saturday
LAMAR – Little Pigeon Baptist Church, off Indiana 245 near Lamar, will host a gospel sing at 7 p.m. Saturday.
The Woodsmen Quartet will be the special guests. Refreshments will be served at 6:30 p.m. and the public is encouraged to attend.

St. Boniface fish dinners April 22
FULDA – A fish dinner will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 22 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Fulda.
The parish family of St. Boniface invites neighbors and friends to the dinner. Cost of the dinners is $8 for adults and $5 for children. The meal will consist of two boneless fish fillets, bread, dessert, drink and your choice of three sides: german fries, mac and cheese, baked beans or slaw.
Proceeds will benefit the facilities and grounds of historic St. Boniface Catholic Church. The parish center is located on Highway 545, south of the church. Take-out will be available.

Central Baptist Easter services Sunday
HAWESVILLE, Ky. – Central Baptist Church will hold special Easter services beginning Sunday at 6 p.m. with children and youth programs.
These programs will include puppets, music and creative ministries. The adult choir will hold two performances of the Easter Cantata “The King is Coming” at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 23 and Easter Sunday morning April 24 at 10:30 a.m. Brother Brian Adkins and the congregation of Central Baptist Church invites the community to join them for these special services. The church is located at 25 Highway 271 North in Hawesville.

Little Pigeon announces Easter services
LAMAR – Little Pigeon Baptist Church, off Indiana 245 near Lamar, will hold a special breakfast at 8 a.m. Easter Sunday.
Worship service will follow at 9 a.m. No Sunday school will be held that day. The community is invited to attend.

Tell City UMC bake sale
TELL CITY – Tell City United Methodist Church, 10th and Mozart streets, will hold a bake sale April 23 at the front of the church.
Items will include homemade baked good and colored hard-boiled eggs. For more information, contact the church.

Holy Week, Easter Services at Ferdinand Monastery
FERDINAND – The Sisters of St. Benedict of Ferdinand invite the public to join them for Holy Week and Easter services in the monastery church.
Palm Sunday services, consisting of the blessing of palms, a procession and Mass, will begin at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. On Holy Thursday, April 21, the Mass of the Lord’s Supper will be celebrated at 7 p.m. Good Friday services will be at 3 p.m. April 22. Easter Vigil Service of Readings on Holy Saturday will be at 8 p.m.
Easter Sunday services will begin at 5:45 a.m. April 24 and will include the blessing of the fire, Paschal candle and water, and the celebration of the Mass of the Resurrection.
The monastery gift shop will be closed Holy Thursday through Easter Sunday. It will reopen Monday, April 25 at 10 a.m. Guided tours at the monastery will not be given from Holy Thursday through Easter Monday. All times are Eastern Daylight.
