Pannell, Taylor to appear at Our Father’s House of Worship
TROY – Brother Roy Pannell with Outreach Ministry-The Way in Loogootee will give a spiritual message and Sister Cheri Taylor, a gospel singer from Lamar, will sing for the congregation today at Our Father’s House of Worship, LLC at 630 Walnut Street in Troy.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and the service will begin at 6 p.m.

Domino party hosted by Hilldale Relay team
LEWISPORT, Ky. – The Hilldale Church Relay for Life team will sponsor its ninth annual domino party at 6:30 p.m. April 26 at the Lewisport Community Center in Lewisport, Ky.
Snacks, drinks, cake and coffee will be served. Door prizes will be offered through out the evening.
The person with the lowest score for the evening will win a porch swing built by Damon Gregory. Tickets are $10 per person and all proceeds will go to the Relay for Life.

Gospel sing at Little Pigeon Baptist
LAMAR – Little Pigeon Baptist Church, located two-tenths of a mile east of U.S. 231 on County Road 1250 N., will host a gospel sing April 20 at the church.
Dinner will be at 6 p.m. with singing beginning at 7 p.m. The Wilson Family will be the guest singers. All are welcome to attend.

Public invited to sing-a-long with Cannelton UMC
CANNELTON – Be ready to clap your hands and tap your feet with the congregation of Cannelton United Methodist Church during a sing-a-long at 3 p.m. April 21 at the church, Third and Taylor streets.
The church will offer choral selections and there will be plenty of time to sing favorite hymns. Friends and family are welcome and those attending are asked to take a covered dish to share in a light supper after.

Social at St. Boniface

FULDA – St. Boniface Catholic Church in Fulda will host a spring social from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. April 21 at the parish center, Indiana 545, south of the church.
Bingo will be held from noon to 5 p.m. and a euchre tourney is set to begin at 5:30 p.m.
Chili, barbecue pork sandwiches, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, smoked pork sausage links, drinks and desserts will be served.
Proceeds from the event will go to the parish center. Take outs will also be available.

Harvest of Wisdom with Sisters of St. Benedict
FERDINAND – Sisters of St. Benedict of Ferdinand are offering a program, “Harvest of Wisdom: Exploring the Benedictine Blessings of Prayer, Work, Balance and Hospitality” that will study the traditional tools and timeless treasures of St. Benedict’s spirituality.
The program will be held April 20 at Kordes Center on the grounds of Monastery Immaculate Conception in Ferdinand. The program runs from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. EST.
It will be presented by Sister Karen Joseph OSB, a spiritual director who has given retreats and workshops in Benedictine spirituality to Benedictines throughout North America, and has served recently at the Benedictine Women’s Renewal Program in Rome, Italy.
Program participants will explore the blessings of the value of prayer, work, balance and hospitality as found in the Rule of St. Benedict.
Program cost is $69 and includes lunch. Registration deadline is April 17.

St. Paul to offer Catholic classes
TELL CITY – Classes for those seeking to learn more about the Catholic faith are scheduled for 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays through April. Classes are sponsored by St. Paul Catholic Church in Tell City but are open to anyone in the community.
