Monte Cassino pilgrimages conclude Sunday
SAINT MEINRAD – Saint Meinrad Archabbey’s pilgrimages to honor the Blessed Mother at the Monte Cassino Shrine will conclude Sunday with a 2 p.m. service.

The pilgrimage will begin with an opening hymn and a short sermon, followed by a rosary procession. The service ends with the Litany of the Blessed Virgin and a hymn.

Archabbot Justin DuVall OSB will offer an address Sunday titled “Mary, Mother of the Light.”

The public is invited.

Monte Cassino Shrine is located one mile east of the Archabbey on Indiana 62 in St. Meinrad.

Freedom rally at First Baptist Church

TELL CITY – First Baptist Church, 13th and Jefferson streets in Tell City, will host a “Stand Up For Freedom Rally” from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 9.

A movie titled “The Last Ounce of Courage” will be shown at 6 p.m. followed by the youth’s God Rod presentation. Refreshments will be served immediately following in the fellowship hall.

Everyone is invited.

Ferdinand sisters offer Enneagram

FERDINAND – Sisters of St. Benedict of Ferdinand will offer a program titled “Enneagram,” that can help participants learn about their personality and how to make the most of it. The program will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. EST Nov. 9 at Kordes Center in Ferdinand.

It will be presented by Sister Karlene Sensmeier OSB, who studied the Enneagram at the Institute for Spiritual Leadership in Chicago. She is principal of St. Benedict Cathedral School in Evansville.

The workshop will present the essential components of the Enneagram, a personality theory naming the nine different types of compulsions developed to cope with human reality.

Goals of the workshop are to better understand your personal growth, and to grow into the best you can be in your basic personality type.
Program cost is $65, including lunch. Registration is due Nov. 6.
