Bruce and Sarah Chinn of Tell City announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Katherine Elizabeth, to Nicholas Ryan Weyer, son of Ron and Lou Ann Weyer of Ferdinand.
The bride-elect graduated from Tell City High School in 2001 and from Belmont University in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in middle-school education. She is currently employed with the Tell City-Troy Township School Corp. as a teacher.
Mr. Weyer graduated from Forest Park High School in 2003 and from the University of Evansville in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics education. He is also employed with the Tell City-Troy Township School Corp. as a teacher.
The wedding is planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Tell City with a reception at the Ferdinand Community Center.
Formal invitations have been issued.
