Castle’s girls team overwhelms Tell City

TELL CITY—Castle won all 11 events to beat Tell City 130-40 in girls swimming Thursday.
Loren Braunecker earned Tell City’s only second place, swimming the 200-yard freestyle in 2:19.98. Teammate Bailey Powell placed third in that event in 2:34.50.
Braunecker placed third in the 500 free in 6:28.13 and Powell was fourth in 6:54.28.
Charissa Lahee took third in the 50 free in 28.97 and in the 100 free in 1:05.07.
Freshman Sydney Brown placed third in the 200 individual medley in 3:05.67 and fourth in the 100 butterfly in 1:32.03.
