Cash Waggner moves to 4-0

TELL CITY—Natalie Sanders had three hits and Mollie Ingle had four RBIs as Cash Waggner ran its record to 4-0 with a 10-2 age-13-16 girls softball win over Goffinet Homes Wednesday.
Sanders hit a double and two singles and scored two runs. Ingle had a double, single, walk and RBI grounder.
Pool player Chelsey Billings also had two hits for Cash Waggner.
Shannon Bryant and Monica Bartley combined to pitch a one-hitter for Cash Waggner.
Bryant struck out five and walked two in four innings. Bartley struck out one in pitching a 1-2-3 fifth inning.
Skylar Parker led Ohio Valley Gas past Legacy Financial 6-4 in the evening’s first game.
Parker had two hits and made a nice catch and throw in center field for a game-ending double play, doubling a runner off second base.
Leah Hellums had two hits and Peyton Litherland hit a triple for Legacy.
With its second consecutive win Ohio Valley Gas pulled into a second-place tie with Legacy in the loss column, as each has two losses.
Legacy beat Goffinet Homes 19-1 in three innings later in the night as Hellums hit a double and two singles.
Tori Peter added two hits.
Hunter Childers pitched a two-hitter for the win. She struck out six and walked one.
