Carolyn Byrd, 69

LEOPOLD – Carolyn Byrd, 69, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010, at her home.

She was born in Derby March 13, 1941, daughter of the late John and Cathyrn (Carr) Ramsey. Also preceding her in death were her husband, Fletcher Byrd in 2008 and a sister, Jessie Dixon.

Carolyn owned and operated Carolyn’s Beauty Shop and Merle Norman Studio out of her home for 25 years. She enjoyed cooking and spending time at home with family and friends.
