Cannelton students honor volunteers

Cannelton Elementary School celebrated its annual volunteer recognition ceremony May 8. Fifty volunteers consisting of individuals and businesses were honored. Shown from left are Kyle Harpenau, Jaci Garrett, Judy Garrett (Iron Gate Pizza), Dot Marchand (Tom’s Circle S), Amy Knight, Dan Hayden (Cannelton American Legion), Bill Conrad, Andy Rager, Misty Rager and Vince Gagliardi. Businesses were presented with framed volunteer certificates and a Cannelton ornament. Individuals were presented with volunteer pins and ornaments.
