CANNELTON - Cannelton elementary students recently participated in the school's 36th annual St. Jude's Bike-athon.
Overall, participants raised $2,585.35 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Devyn Powers, the winner for an individual raising the most money, collected $658 and won a bicycle, helmet, T-shirt, tote bag and a blanket.
The second-place winner was fourth-grader Ethan Smith, who raised $321.05. In third place was fourth-grader Kyra Hemmings, who raised $175.
Fourth-place winner was second-grader Alexis Blake, who raised $151, and in fifth place was third-grader Gavin Melton, with a total of $150.
Second through fifth-place winners earned a T- shirt, tote and a blanket.
The top-raising adult rider was Joan Goble, who raised $95. She received a T-shirt and tote bag.
