Cannelton PD solves pair of thefts

CANNELTON – After months of investigation, the Cannelton Police Department recently arrested two men who reportedly took items out of vehicles at Aubrey Used Car Sales in Cannelton back in May 2011.

According to officers, The Cannelton Police Department was able to obtain a search warrant for a truck where it was believed one of these items were located. According to Officer Micah Jackson, initial charges include conversion, false reporting and possession of stolen property. The two suspects were juveniles when the crimes took place. Formal charges are pending.
