Cannelton man jailed after nighttime run from police

CANNELTON - A Cannelton man already banned from driving for life was arrested Sunday after he fled from a state-police trooper, authorities said.

Scott D. Polster, 35, of 718 Green Meadows, was taken into custody by Trooper Heath Carkuff and lodged in the Perry County jail on charges of operating a vehicle after being judged a lifetime habitual traffic violator, resisting law enforcement, possession of marijuana and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
