Cannelton Heritage Fest kicks off at 10 a.m. Saturday

Bristow Car Show coming Sunday

CANNELTON – An annual festival paying tribute to the rich history of Cannelton will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday along Washington Street in the city.

The downtown festival will feature artisans and craftsmen set up in front of historic late 1800s storefronts on the town’s main street. Demonstrations by experienced tradesmen will feature skills and talents practiced by the early settlers of Cannelton. They include pottery, marbling with paper, rug weavers and a blacksmith.
