CANNELTON - Cannelton hit only 19.4 percent from the field in a 74-27 girls basketball loss to Tecumseh Thursday.
The Bulldogs also hurt themselves by committing 24 turnovers.
And Tecumseh found enough seams in the Bulldogs' 2-3 zone defense to hit 10 three-point baskets.
The Braves hit three three-pointers and scored two baskets directly off steals as they jumped to a 19-3 lead in the first 6:20 of the game.
"Turnovers killed us," said Cannelton Coach Jeff Miller. "We' ve got to get away from throwing lazy passes."
