Cannelton game suspended Monday

LYNNVILLE - Cannelton's baseball sectional game with Tecumseh was suspended in the first inning Monday due to heavy rain and lightning.

The game was scheduled to be resumed Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. with Tecumseh leading 6-0 in the first inning.

The Braves were still batting in the top of the first and had the bases loaded, with the third batter in their lineup, Bob Oeth, due up for the second time in the inning.

They had seven hits the first time through their batting order, including a triple and two doubles.
