Cannelton eyes $1 million budget for 2014

1-percent raise planned for city employees

CANNELTON – She had received information from the state Department of Local Government Finance that money can now be transferred from the city’s economic-development income-tax fund, Cannelton Mayor Mary Snyder said at a budget meeting July 29.

Based on that news, she changed the city’s EDIT plan at the county courthouse, she continued before council members adopted an ordinance transferring $50,000 to the city’s general fund.
