Cannelton Christmas Parade

Offering hearty holiday greetings during Cannelton’s annual Christmas parade, Santa Claus waves to the crowd Friday night on Washington Street. A large crowd attended the annual event hosted by Cannelton American Legion Post 142, the Legion Auxiliary and Sons of the Legion. The parade drew several horse and pony entries. Tell City’s Christmas parade, along with caroling, chili cook-off and a tree-lighting ceremony in City Hall Park, took place Sunday. Anyone still looking to chat with Santa has at least one more chance. Leopold’s Christmas parade begins at 1 p.m.
