Public invited to 6 p.m. forum; WLME carrying event live

PERRY COUNTY - The Perry County News, Perry County Chamber of Commerce and Cromwell Radio Group will sponsor a political forum today, giving voters an opportunity to assess candidates seeking their votes in the Nov. 4 election.

The forum will begin at 6 p.m. at the Schergens Center and will be aired live on radio station WLME, 102.7 FM. The public is encouraged to attend. Questions, including those submitted from Perry County residents, will be posed by Editor Vince Luecke.

Voters heading to the polls next month will decide two races for county commissioner, three seats on the county council as well as offices of recorder and surveyor.

All candidates for those offices have been invited to today's forum, as have those seeking the District 73 and District 74 seats in the Indiana House of Representatives.
