CANNELTON – The seventh annual Camp with a Cop is set for July 17-19 and will offer campers three days and two nights of activities. Children entering fifth through ninth grades are invited. The camp is designed to build respect and confidence in youth through positive encounters with law enforcement agencies from various state and local departments.
Camp will be held again this year at the Glennwood Hills Campgrounds. Any children needing transportation to the campgrounds will need to meet at the parking lot of the Cotton Mill Apartments in Cannelton no later than 7:30 a.m. on the morning of July 17
Campers must complete an application either online at canneltonpolice.com or by picking one up at the Cannelton or Tell City police departments or at schools.

Deadline for applications is July 1. Registration fee per camper is $30, payable to the Cannelton Police Department.
The fee includes all meals and snacks while at camp, T-shirt and lodging. Scholarships are available for those financially challenged and no one will be turned away because of an inability to pay.
To apply for scholarship funds applicants must include a one-page letter, in neat handwriting, explaining why he or she would like to be awarded a sponsorship.
