CANNELTON - Cannelton had just two hits but made the most of them to beat Whitesville Trinity 2-1 in the first game of a baseball doubleheader Tuesday.
The Bulldogs scored both their runs in the third inning, when they had just one hit.
Justin Dooley drew a leadoff walk, advanced to second base on a balk, and scored on Cody Lawalin's single.
Lawalin scored on an error by the first baseman, with the ball going into right field.
Stephen Lane pitched a four-hitter for the win in the five-inning game. He walked none and struck out five.
