MEDORA—Cannelton lost a 10-point lead but came back with strong defense to beat Medora 71-69 in overtime in boys basketball Saturday.
The Bulldogs led 40-30 in the middle of the third quarter but “we got a little too aggressive” and “took a lot of forced shots,” said Cannelton Coach Brian Garrett.
Medora took a 57-56 lead on a basket by center Roy Edwards in the closing minutes of the fourth quarter.
