WHITESVILLE, Ky.—Some full-court pressure helped jump-start Cannelton’s offense in a 54-33 girls basketball win over Whitesville Trinity Monday.
“We started out kind of flat and we had to press a little bit (starting about halfway through the first quarter) to create some turnovers,” said Cannelton Coach Mike Garrett. “We got some easy baskets off it.”
The Bulldogs used the same tactic in the third quarter after Trinity cut their 16-point halftime lead to eight points.
