Bulldogs hold off Aces

CLOVERPORT, Ky. - Cannelton forced 27 turnovers to beat Cloverport 59-55 in boys basketball Tuesday.

"We played at a fast pace and had greater depth than Cloverport," said Cannelton Coach Brian Garrett.

The fast pace set by the Bulldogs contributed to Cloverport's turnovers.

But, it was also their focus on fast pace that cost the Bulldogs a nearly 20-point lead over the Aces. As they continued to rush play in the fourth quarter, Garrett told them to slow down.
