CANNELTON—Three-point shooting and solid defense helped Cannelton overcome New Harmony 61-56 in boys basketball Tuesday.
The Bulldogs hit 10 for 31 from three-point range while New Harmony made only 5 of 13.
“I think that was a big key for us, hitting those early three-point shots,” said Cannelton Coach Brian Garrett.
Garrett also said he was pleased with his team’s man-to-man defense and attempt to dictate the tempo of the game.
