Brown propels Marksmen to triangular win

TELL CITY—Elliott Brown won four events to lead Tell City past Boonville and Jasper in boys track Thursday.
Tell City scored 70 points, Boonville 53, and Jasper 44.
Brown won the 100-meter dash in 11.16 seconds, which was close to Kyle Kessinger’s school record. Kessinger’s record is 11.17 with fully automatic timing, which is slower than Thursday’s hand-held timing.
Brown also turned in his best performances of the season as he won the 200 in 23.22 and the long jump at 19 feet, 6 inches.
