“The Cowgirl Princess and StarWalker: My Mother’s Story” is a biography-memoir told in the unique whimsical style of author Dianne Brown, daughter of the late Carl and Lorine Greulich.
“My mother Lorine, the Cowgirl Princess, for years expressed her desire to write her life’s story,” explained Brown. Before her mother’s passing, she requested Brown write her story for her. Her new book is the result of a promise kept.
In the telling of her mother’s story, Brown discovered an amazing legacy of love and forgiveness, she said. The story is a life-song sung in two-part harmony, and it reveals a wonderful inheritance found hidden deep in her own memories and heritage in southern Indiana.
Born in Denver, Colo., Brown was raised in Fulda and Tell City, which are the settings of her book and the telling of her roots. Brown currently resides in northern California with her husband, Rich, and their trustworthy dog, Chris.
