Brother Charles DeSutter, 80

ST. MEINRAD – Brother Charles DeSutter OSB, 80, died Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, in the monastery infirmary.
He was born in Ghent, Minn., June 24, 1930, to Charles B. and Bertha (Van Hee) DeSutter.
He was invested as a novice at Saint Meinrad Archabbey Feb. 9, 1954, and professed his simple vows Feb. 10, 1955. He professed his simple perpetual vows in 1959.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2010, in the Archabbey Church. Burial was in the Archabbey Cemetery.
