INDIANAPOLIS – Several bills that could change the structure of government in Perry and other Indiana counties are scheduled for discussion in a state legislative committee Wednesday, according to information provided by County Commissioner Gary Dauby. He provided The News an e-mail message Monday from Association of Indiana Counties Executive Director David Bottorff, who advised the organization’s members earlier in the day that Senate bills 359, 506 and 550 and Senate Joint Resolution 7 are scheduled for hearings in the state Senate Local Government Committee.
