Braves scalp Marksmen

TELL CITY - Some say that a basketball team looks good when it shoots well. But Tell City's boys team proved Friday that it's possible to hit 50 percent from the field and look bad.

The Marksmen hit 23 of 46 from the field in a 77-60 PAC loss to Tecumseh.

But they committed 21 turnovers and allowed Tecumseh to hit 63.2 percent from the field as they gave up 15 layups.

Six of those came on fast breaks, as the Marksmen were slow getting back on defense after turnovers or missed shots.
