NEWBURGH—Loren Braunecker of the Tri-County Swim Club placed in the top seven in three events at the Indiana Swimming Southwest Divisional Champion-ships March 1-3.
Braunecker placed fifth in the 15-and-older girls 200-yard freestyle.
She was seventh in the 500 and 100 freestyles.
She had also qualified for the divisional meet in the 50 and 1650 frees.
Other Tri-County boys and girls who qualified for the divisional meet in the 15-and-older age division were:
Stephen Houle in the 100 free, Bailey Powell in the 200 and 500 frees, Derrian Zabel in the 50 free, Will Roberts in the 50 and 200 frees, and Trent Harding in the 50 and 500 frees and the 200 individual medley.
Elliot Reed qualified for the meet in the 12 and under 50 free, 100 free, 50 breaststroke and 100 breast.
